Easy to install
They seem sturdy enough and they were very easy to install. I did use my own screws based on the other reviews. No issues.

Very sturdy and easy to install.
These Kayak hooks were easy to install and are very sturdy. I have one set holding up a 12 ft Lifetime sit on top and am installing the second set this weekend for a smaller kayak. Specifically, I have hung these on my wood fence on the 4×4 posts. Each hook is about 8 feet apart and works well for the larger kayak.

Good Racks but do NOT use provided screws!
Once mounted, the kayak racks work well and as intended.Several people warned against using the supplied screws. When I received them, they appeared ok to use and I assumed they had already been improved. Buy, was I wrong!The screws are made of soft metal, not steel. The heads of the screws twisted off when I hand-tightened them into my 2×4. Since most of the screw was behind the rack, I was unable to see that only the head was turning. Now, I have a 2â screw without a head where I want to mount the racks.So, buy the racks but get your own stronger 2â screws.

Perfect solution for our 10â kayaks!
Fast install, definitely use a higher quality screw as many other reviews mentioned for peace of mind. We used 2â deck screws and the kayaks were looking good up on the wall in barely 10 minutes! Excellent value.

They will hold a kayak just not sure for how long.
They will hold a light weight kayak. Not to sure how they will hold up on my heavier kayaks. Bent slightly when putting kayaks on. I would spend a little more and get heavier duty holders.
