Cooks really fast
Let me start with saying the manual is an eye test that in the end isn’t particularly useful anyway. The oven essentially comes complete with only the stone needing to be installed. The manual spends a half page of 4-point text explaining how to light the oven with a match when it in fact has an igniter similar to a grill. I started this up once before cooking because the manual talked about the smoke that would be visible on the first couple of uses due to parts coatings. I never got any smoke the first time, so I didn’t worry about it the second time. It takes between 12-15 minutes to get it up to full temperature. At 12 minutes I got readings of 859 degrees F which is when I put in the pie. You are supposed to turn the temperature down to low before inserting the pie I waited until after which was probably a mistake as the cheese blackened a bit. There is one included recipe for pizza, and it says 45 seconds before removing and turning around for another 90 seconds or so. I believe that to be valid instructions. It is also important to get your crust thin as it will rise even in that short timeframe. For our first effort we made a 10″ pie with cheese and a meat sauce. It actually came out really nice. My crust recipe produced enough dough for three pies this size. I really enjoyed using this oven and the product it produced. The manual was a challenge and a bit of a disappointment but overall covered what you need to know if you include the recipe provided. So much quicker than the pizzas we have made in the home oven.

Nice little pizza oven!
If you’re looking for a small inexpensive outdoor pizza oven, this is certainly one to take a look at. I own two Ooni Koda’s, a 12″ and 16″, but got this one to use when camping. In the meantime I set it up on my deck for testing and to burn off the newness. The oven has foldable legs and a power control knob located in the back, which includes a piezo ignitor so won’t need a lighter. On a 70º day, it took about 23 minutes to get the stone up to 800º. The pizza was finished in under 2 minutes and you can see the results in the photo. Though I forgot to take a picture of the crust, it was perfect, with nice dark spots indicating doneness and of course it was nice and crispy. My only complaint is the thickness of the pizza stone. It is pretty thin and I fear prone to breakage, so be careful. It will also lose the majority of its heat cooking one pizza, and will have to be fully reheated between each pie. If you’re planning on cranking out a lot of pizzas for a backyard party, this isn’t for you. However, for the occasional one off, it’s good.

Good pizza oven. Heats up quickly. Has a learning curve.
I like it so far. It’s gas (propane) fired so no need to mess with pellets or wood chips/chunks. I wanted to try it out right away, so I made a small flour tortilla personal pizza and fired it up. I let it preheat for 12 minutes and put it in. The stone after preheating got up to over 650 degrees. It took about 2-3 minutes until I took it out. Not bad. It does cook more towards the back where the burners are located. But I think it turned out good for the first try. Next time I’ll place it more towards the front. It’s difficult to turn the pizza once it’s in. Noticeably missing from this oven compared to others are a peel (just a cheap one would be fine because many people may not have one), and a thermometer. Otherwise, it’s a decent little oven for the price. Included in the box are the oven, the stone, a match holder for manual lighting, a user manual (which is mostly about gas safety), and a generic pizza oven recipe paper with a couple different pizzas, dough and wings. A carry handle would make it easier to transport, but I don’t plan on taking it anywhere. All in all, I would recommend it so far and I look forward to practicing more to get it just right!

Great pizza oven adventure
I recently tried the Uniflasy 12″ Portable Propane Gas Pizza Oven, and overall, Iâm very impressed! The three-layer design really enhances heat retention, allowing it to heat up to 950°F in just 15 minutes. It cooks pizzas in about 60 seconds, and the results are fantasticâcrispy crusts and perfectly melted cheese every time. The only drawback is that I would prefer a temperature adjustment option on the front for easier access. While itâs not a major issue, having it readily available would make the cooking process even more convenient.Despite that, this oven is perfect for backyard gatherings, camping trips, or picnics. It heats up quickly and delivers delicious pizzas consistently. Highly recommend it for pizza lovers looking for a portable solution!

Very nice oven
Cooks great pizza. Takes longer to heat up than I would like but it is worth the wait.

Fun for outdoors
This pizza oven is fun for outdoor parties. It’s easy to set up although a little cumbersome to carry, pack and store. It’s a nice size though for backyard pizza making. I will say I tried a homemade crust which didn’t work, and a frozen pizza which required turning the pizza several times to get an even cook. I have yet to try a pre-made pizza dough crust. I’m confident that this will be ideal in the pizza oven. It’s nicely built, sturdy and durable.

Pizza oven
This pizza oven heats up quickly and is a fun addition to a backyard cooking event. It’s good for a make your own pizza or just putting a pre-made pizza and crisping it up.
