Has Benefits with Use, but Might be Over Hyped vs Actuality…
This under desk elliptical machine is relatively light weight, easy to use and does provide some beneficial effects when used. But the BENEFITS might be a bit overstated and over hyped…The elliptical machine is easy to set up and to use, its concept is quite easy to understand and to use while you’re at your computer/workstation. As someone that usually spends A LOT of time at the computer and sitting on a chair for gaming, this was something that attracted me and also something that I wanted as well. Usually, I use this about twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening, and this was especially true during the summer months. I usually start it up at and continue to do my computer work or game. There are times that I totally forget that I am even using the elliptical, which I guess is a good thing, since the only reason why I remember is that it beeps and stops at the 30 min mark. Which the instructions say something like, “Do not use the machine continuously, for no longer than 30 minutes at a time… allow 20 minutes for the machine to cool… before using again.”I basically use the machine for an 1 hour a day total, that’s if I remember to and/or if I am not already busy walking around for hours at a time with a busy day. I would say that it does help a bit, but it’s not something at all that I would call a “Work out”. Not only that the movement is low impact on knees, so it doesn’t leave me sore or strained during and after use.The elliptical has potential to be helpful and beneficial, because some movement is better than no movement whatsoever. But one must understand that typically one needs exert a certain amount of effort/force to either raise the heart rate to a comfortable but challenging level so blood flow can increase and/or strain the muscles so that they become stronger and resilient. You’re practically sitting down, and the machine is lifting your legs for you in a stepping motion. Unless you’re really, REALLY out of shape, or you are working out with weights at the same time, the results may not be what you hoped to expect. However though, if for whatever reason you can’t find yourself to go for a walk, may it be true or an excuse, this is still better then absolutely nothing.Overall, this under desk elliptical is easy to use and can have slight benefits for being used, especially if you find yourself at the desk a LOT and don’t mind somewhat multitasking. However, if you’re expecting this to replace exercising while also wanting to reap the same results as if you did do exercise… sorry to break it to you, this machine will not do such a thing.

It is not what it seems
This looks like a miniature version of ellipticals found at fitness clubs. But instead of using it to get some exercise and burn calories, it moves your feet with zero effort and zero calories. It is a beautiful piece of engineering and might be helpful for a paraplegic but not for someone who wants to strengthen their legs or get some cardio. The resistance is literally negative.

Move when you feel like you canât!
I bought this for my recently paralyzed-waist-down brother (cancer). He wants to walk again. He started using this for 6 minutes daily in June. Now he does 2 15-20 sessions. He has walked 18 steps with a walker!! Reliable & effective!

Excellent Workout
This under the desk elliptical trainer is very well built and works great. The unit is plug and play leaving me to just take it out of the box and plug it up. I used the included non slip mat that comes with the unit and set that under my desk and set my elliptical on top of it. The elliptical trainer is solid and very smooth in its rotation. The included programs that are built in give me a really good leg workout when I am setting at my desk working and I can really get a burn when using. The unit comes with straps that you can use to lock your feet in. This unit is an excellent value for a under the desk elliptical trainer.
