Raleigh Sturmey Archer multi freewheel. 6-speed. Made of steel. Available in brown colour. This is a screw on multiple freewheel for 6 speed bikes. It has 14 – 28 wide ratio gearing. Gender: Unisex. In 1888, Sir Frank Bowden purchased a bicycle factory on Raleigh Street, Nottingham, England. He was approached by Henry Sturmey, a journalist and by an engineer, James Archer. Both had ideas about the design of a 3 speed hub and this resulted in 1902 in the world’s first patent for a 3 speed internal gear hub.

Good for Casual Riding
Not the most durable but a good value and Iâm happy with it. For casual riding I think itâs fine.

Good replacement.
Got this for a retro Schwinn 12-speed rebuild for my son. Smooth running, runs straighter and truer (and shifts better) than similar Shimano freewheels. Looks better than the Shimano ones, too. Just wish it came in more range choices.

SunRace M2A 6-speed 14-28 Freewheel Black/Zinc review
I went from a 33 year old broken freewheel SunRace 5-speed 14-28 , to this SunRace M2A 6-speed 14-28 freewheel without any problems, did not even have to adjust the derailer. Remember to get the correct freewheel remover.

Satisfied
Fixed up a 20+ year old mongoose mountain bike. Put 1,000 miles on it this summer, very happy with the purchase.
