Excellent auto espresso machine
A few days inâPros:- Great designâminimalist- Quality materials- High quality espresso (for an automatic device)- Surprising level of customizability (if you read the manual); loved I could do many things like turn off the beeping and adjust the amount of product dispensed- Steam wand works well- Helpful online assistant and guide- Relatively thin width makes it good for limited countertop space- Machine will not let you get away with lack of cleaning and descaling, which prolongs life- Real buttons with tactile feelingCons:- High initial investment- Requires regular cleaning and maintenance- Interface is not immediately apparent (switches between white and orange lights; you have to know what the combos of buttons do; if you donât read the manual or watch the guides you will be lost)- Power button is hidden on the side- Difficult to decipher button labels in low light- Water tank needs lots of clearance above, so it is not suitable under low cabinets above- Only dispenses one shot of espresso at a timeMost of the cons for me are just normal trade-offs in design. I think if you purchase this aware of the product design, then you wonât be disappointed. Watch YouTube videos showing it being used and youâll know if you want it or not pretty quickly. For me, the pros outweigh the cons by a lot.I canât speak to durability, yet. But so far so good.
