Update: Fantastic customer service and excellent coffee maker
My original review is below. One of Kidisle’s representatives contacted me by email and offered to send me the coffee maker that is an upgrade from the one I returned. I just received it today. It set up easily with just a few parts. After washing the removable parts, I ran several cups of hot water to clean the system. As I am writing this review update, I am drinking my first cup of coffee. I made two, one with a K-cup and the other with ground coffee. I am happy to note the coffee is excellent. I had issues with the touch controls on the original model. The representative had told me that the controls on the newer version should work properly. I can attest to her veracity as every control works perfectly. I love that you can use K-cups or ground coffee with the provided parts. It has a reusable K-cup that can be washed and filled. I have a number of similar pods that work with this brewer so I do not need to wash one with every cup I brew. The K-cup option works as well as any Keurig makers I have owned. You can choose from five size options, starting at 6 and increasing by 2 ounces until you reach the maximum of 16. There are three brew options, K-cup, ground coffee or iced coffee (reduced heat and you provide the ice in the cup). You can choose from regular and extra strength brews. The water tank holds a generous 50 ounces. The only thing I didn’t see is a filtration system. My locality has excellent water quality, so this is not a big concern for me. I can’t say enough good things about the customer service from Kidisle. They will work with you should you have issues with their product. As noted above, they contacted me after reading my original review. While I am happy with their service, I am more impressed with the brewer and can heartily recommend the company and their product.Original review follows:There is a lot to like about this coffee maker from Kidisle. It can brew ground coffee, K-cups with their adapter and self packed K-cups in provided housings. You can choose from various size brews. It is a nice looking coffee maker with attractive lines. All of the moving parts are solid and fit well. Having said that, the one I received had two issues. First, the touch buttons did not work very well. I was unable to turn the machine off other than by pulling the plug. The size button took a lot of effort and a good number of attempts before it would work properly. The brew button also took many attempts before it would work. The second issue is that it took a very long time before it would start to brew. I didn’t time it, but I had to wait quite a while before it started to heat water and then longer before brewing. I really wish my version had worked a little better because it is a beautiful machine with a relatively small footprint. I can live with the brew time, but the issues with the touch buttons made me decide to return it.

It works
It works and does everything it says it should for the most part. It does not work with Nespresso pods, it works with the capsules. The listing indicates that it works with âpodsâ but it should specify those are more like k-cup pods. That was the only reason why I was going to use it, was for those nespresso pods so for me it was a bit useless. Other than that, it seemed to operate as specified in the listing.

5 star coffee maker with multiple adapters for different cup sizes, easy to use and fast
So I used to be a very heavy coffee drinker, at the office in the morning I could easily finish off a pot of coffee by myself. But then I retired and now I only drink maybe one or two cups of coffee a day.A few years ago we got a name brand single serving coffee machine that lasted about six months before it broke.. Not wanting to spend yet another $120 on a new one I decided to buy a smaller single cup coffee machine. I cheaped out this time and got one that didn’t have a reservoir on the back. You literally filled your cup with water and poured it into the back to chose the cup size you wanted.I liked this smaller unit because it had one button, and trust me when I wake up in the morning and I’m stumbling into the kitchen half blind because my eyes are still asleep the last thing I want to do is play the puzzle game with a coffee machine trying to figure out which button to push. The reason I mention this is because this new coffee machine has a lot of buttons. Even as a retired aerospace engineer I must say it was a bit intimidating at first. The good news is they’re right on the front and even half blind in the morning I can figure it out, but best of all it has memory so when you push the power button it remembers your last setting. So now at night before I go to bed I press the power button make sure the cup size I want is selected, fill it up with water turn it off and in the morning it’s ready to go, all I need to do is press the blue power button. The only thing that could make this machine any better is if it had a timer. It’s really a good value, not only is it much faster then my old one but it can also brew multiple different cup sizes. It came with with adapters so you can use your own grounds, It came with a big adapter which is similar to those used on a traditional drip machine and it came with an adapter for the prefilled K-cups. The adapters are easy to use and just drop in.My old coffee machine is going over to my sons house because all they do is drink energy drinks over there, I’m old school and energy drinks don’t work for me first thing in the morning, And While I enjoy an energy drink once in a while in the morning when I wake up I want a cup of coffee and if I don’t get one then I get a bit grumpy. If you’ve made it this far Into my little mini coffee novel then congratulations, but seriously if you’re on the fence this is a very nice Coffee maker, I should mention that the reservoir on the back is very convenient and easy to use I’m one of those weird people who uses bottled water To make their coffee so this reservoir makes it really convenient.

Really nice coffee machine for the price
We don’t drink coffee everyday so when I was looking for a new coffee machine, I was cringing at the prices. And I did not want anything too big. We rarely make a whole pot of coffee anymore. This little red machine is perfect. It was cheaper than the other brands I was looking at. It fits nicely in the corner under my cabinets, not taking up too much room. When my BFF visits, she often brings her own K coffee machine. Now she doesn’t have to. And, if you do a lot of road trips, this too could be a good travel machine because it is very lightweight. It can take the k cups, but I like that it has an attachment so you can use your own coffee. When I do drink coffee, I like it freshly ground. There are not a lot of bells and whistles on this. I don’t need them. But if you are looking at controlling your brew or any other fancy options, this product is not for you. You fill up the tank (40 oz max), put in your coffee, pick your mug size (up to 14 oz) and press “brew”. Easy and fast. Most important, it made a darn good cup of coffee.UPDATE: I went and got some pods to test out for when I have company. I got an off brand of some Hawaiin coffee I wanted to try, with non-standard K-cups they called pods. Worked great! The coffee was perfectly brewed. No mess; easy clean-up.

This K-Cup coffee machine is a fantastic option for coffee lovers who value customization and convenience âperfect for those who like to personalize their brew volume. Whether you prefer a strong, concentrated shot of espresso or a longer, milder cup of coffee, this machine gives you the flexibility to dial in your perfect brew every time. The 40 oz water reservoir is also a major plus, allowing you to make multiple cups of coffee without constantly needing to refill. This is especially helpful for busy mornings or if you have a few people who want to enjoy coffee throughout the day. The reservoir is easy to fill, and the machine is designed to be user-friendly, with clear indicators and simple controls for selecting your brew size and strength. One feature that really sets this machine apart is the inclusion of 4 reusable K-Cup pods, which allow you to use your own ground coffee. I ordered the Single serve coffee machine from the brand KIDISLE in the colour red. The machine came with a user manual that was easy to follow and had clear instructions as well as 2 adaptors and 1 reusable capsule. The material the machine is made of doesn’t feel or look cheap. It is true to size and has a slender profile making it great for small spaces. The water reservoir accurately holds 40 oz and does not leak. I have tested multiple brew sizes and can say it true brews 6, 8,10,12 and 14 oz. The machine doesn’t add any metallic or other taste to the water. The machine didn’t arrive with any chemical smell. The control panel is easy to follow and I had no issues with the buttons sticking or needing extra force to activate. So for every K-cup I have tried works well and is compatible with the machine. I have also been successful in brewing coffee grounds and loose leaf tea. I personally prefer to use a loose leaf tea mug to steep my tea vs the machine so I have more control with the intensity. I haven’t had any issues with the machine burning my coffee. I have tested multiple size cups including travel mugs and all have fit the drop tray with no issues. I have not tried any other K-cup machines so I can not compare but as a first impression of any K-cup machines I am satisfied. 5/5

The red colour of this coffee machine is unique and bright, adding a pop of colour on my countertop. I really like that it is flexible in the way that it is able to brew drinks in more than one method. K-Cup pods, ground coffee, or even tea can be made with reuseable pods. The 40oz water reservoir is a good size for a single serve coffee maker, so I donât have to refill it constantly. Brew sizes range from 6 to 14oz in intervals of 2, depending on the kind of drink I want. It heats up quickly, so I can have my coffee ready in just a few minutes, which is a lifesaver in the morning. The self cleaning function is a nice touch, and the machine runs really smoothly without glitches. The platform for the area under the cup is quite small though, so it becomes an issue if you use larger or wider cups. The menu is easy to use with only 3 buttons. The machine runs quieter than I expected during brewing, the noise is not bothersome at all. At $80, this is a very affordable coffee machine. The material and build feel sturdy, and with the self clean, I think the machine will last.

Overall this is a nice single serve coffee maker and it does exactly what it says. My only reason for giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is I also have their Hot and Ice coffee version. I prefer that since it makes the coffee right away where this one it takes a few minutes to heat up the water first

A great single serve coffee machine. I love that I have a way to brew my loose leaf tea now! Is it as great as steeping it, no but it’s still surprisingly good. The water is nice and hot. I’m not sure of the temperature – while it’s definitely hot enough for me, if you like your coffee/tea basically still boiling this might not be hot enough (for example, our Keurig isn’t hot enough for my dad somehow lol). But I love it! The color is fun and vibrant too.I found the machine and adapters easy to clean. Speaking of adapters, they’re easy to put in and take out. That’s probably true of any machine but this is my first time using them.Machine also doesn’t take up a huge amount of room on the microwave stand, and doesn’t make a lot of noise while it’s brewing.
