Doesnât seem to do enough to help my pain
I had L5-S1 surgery several months ago,but am still experiencing pain in that area. I was hoping that this would give me some relief when I wasnât able to use my massage chair. Unfortunately, it doesnât seem to have the same type of movement that my massage chair has for me. Perhaps this just isnât right for my condition and it might provide different results for you.

Lacking something to make it great
Itâs a cool concept but I felt the effectiveness of the massage pressure lacking. Not sure if itâs just the overall design or maybe this tool is better suited for smaller bodies with less muscle density? Overall itâs not a bad tool but it wasnât a game changer for me.

Not powerful enough – or poor design?
In theory, this could be a great device for those with back/hip injuries. But in practice…it really doesn’t live up to those expectations. While it does heat and massage, it’s either lacking power or the design of it doesn’t allow it to focus the massage where it needs to be – on the back. The device itself is getting more of a massage than I am.The device is so-so, the packaging is quite generic (this is a Made in China import that numerous people are selling), and as far as this company…I’ve never heard of “ALPHAY” until now. This isn’t a device I’d recommend, especially at the 150 price – it seems more like an overpromised gimmick than something that can provide pain relief.

Unit for your back
Massage, vibrate and general work out. Heat feature is helpful and better than expected. Good for general back workout and helpful for some relief.

Could use some tweeking
I only used this on device on my floor. I had the best results when I used a combination of stretch, heat, and vibrate. I didn’t bother using the knead because I got more relief from the stretch mode. I found that it will take away the pain for a short amount of time because it loosens up the muscles, but the device didn’t provide a deeper massage, only like a surface massage. The amount of time in-between when the settings change also made it difficult to get more of a release. I did find a little bit of relief and the settings I used had a good hurt pain from the device. I was hoping to get more out of the unit than I did, especially given it is an expensive device.

Easy to Carry Around But…
Overall, the massage machine works ok. Fast heating, the curvature shape naturally stretches lower back. My wife also like the kneading function, but for me, it’s too weak & small size for my back.Here is the not so good part. If we use the machine on the bed or any soft surface, the vibration goes to the surface, not to my back. I don’t feel any vibration on my back. The vibration function works ONLY on the hard surface, like floor. For this reason, I will probably not use nor pay $150 for back massage machine which only can be worked on the hard floor.
