Bizarre little item. But I found a perfect use for it.
I love that this product exists but Iâm not sure where I would mount it if I were actually planning on using it for its intended purpose. Regardless, here are two reviews: one regarding its intended purpose, and a second review regarding my repurposing. Yeah, Iâm the kind of person who puts edible glitter on pizza because I think itâs funny, but I also walk around my house looking for out-of-the-box solutions to problems and the second I saw this I knew I wanted it.Intended purpose review, with photos:I think the most wonderful thing about this is that it comes with both mounting hardware and a starter box of bags, so thereâs no searching for the right insert. Again, Iâm not sure where I would mount this, but if I were to do so, I think Iâd want to bedazzle it or do something to make it more attractive. And I still may, but thatâs for the next purpose discussion. Since I received a starter box of bags, I am also reviewing them. As far as the disposal of feminine products, I think that must be limited to the largest sized menstrual products, or smaller sized bladder protection products. Iâve placed both a giant overnight menstrual pad and a size 5 Poise pad next to the bag. I donât have any trouble getting the overnight pad into the bag, but itâs seems pretty obvious that I would fight with the Poise product. The other mystery is why the bags are translucent. Isnât the purpose to conceal? Oh well. So as far as its intended purpose, I believe it deserves 2 or 3 stars.HOWEVER:Unintended purpose, now with a photo:We have a Keurig and we keep a small trash bin next to the coffee machine for all of the used k-cups (what does everyone else do??), but we have nowhere handy to store the small bags. The Keurig is right next to the fridge. So I added magnets to the back of this dispenser, filled it with a different kind of bag, attached it to the side of the fridge, and it could not have worked out better. As a repurposed item, itâs perfect. And thatâs why I ordered it.

Disclaimer: I did receive this item for free to try out. HOWEVER! All opinions are my own and I pride myself on unbiased reviews that can help others decide whether something is worth it.I always have an issue with trying to discreetly wrap up and dispose of my tampons/pads. Gross. Itâs not too clear in the photos but the dispenser is apparently a hard acrylic/plastic type of material. Very sturdy and long lasting. It LOOKS very nice and minimalistic. Looks great in my bathroom. It comes with hardware to drill onto the wall or you can stick it on your with the included adhesives. I like that they give you a choice. It comes with a package of 30 bags already included. Itâs pretty easy and simple to pull open the dispenser to change out the box of bags and put in refills. This is great to keep in your bathroom by the toilet paper. Simple, sleek, pretty, and DISCREET! Iâm so happy this exists. Just make sure you get the measurements of this dispenser, Iâm sure you can easily search Amazon for the best price for refills. Iâve been seeing a bunch of these around, there are even plant based disposal bags available during my search! If you donât want to look around and do cost comparison, on the listing itself they link to refills that are for sale.

Like a tissue box, but for bags
This box has mounting screws and mounting tape so that it can be mounted one way or another, but I don’t think that I would want to mount it anywhere. For once, the real need for a bag for menstrual pads is when visiting outside my own home and so I want to use this as a travel item.But also, the bags were hard to get to lay in it exactly as they ought to and if it were vertical because it was mounted somewhere I could just imagine it being a bit of a nightmare to keep them from sliding out while trying to reattached the top of the box to its bottom. It was hard enough to get them to stay in nicely while filling the box with the bags on a table before putting the lid on. That said, once the lid is on, it’s great and works exactly like a tissue box, but for bags. I’m not sure if some other brand of bags would fit or not, and the refills for this are a bit pricey …but… I’m really glad this product exists because it definitely helps to have bags for menstrual supplies.

Nice sized bags that hold even overnight & postpartum pads
I haven’t attached my disposal bag holder to the wall. For now, it’s sitting on a bathroom storage organizer.It’s a nice, clean looking holder, with 30 bags. The bags are big enough to hold rolled up liners, moderate, overnights, and even postpartum pads. It keeps the odor down in the bathroom, which is a big plus. I think you could take this in your overnight bag, to keep with you camping, or at a hotel. It doesn’t take up a whole lot of space.If you have an open trash can with no lid, or a lid that swings open, having your pads wrapped up in plastic bags is probably a bit better looking, and smelling. Maybe not great for the environment, but if you’re worried about leaving evidence behind when at a friend’s house, this might be a good thing to have with you. (Not the holder, necessarily, but maybe some of the bags).

Perfect to bring along for Traveling
My wife ended up tossing this in her carry bag and loves to bring it with her when we go on trips and it just so happens to be around that time. She loves how easy it is to bag and dispose instead of being embarrassed by leaving it on top of the trash (no one want’s to dig into the trash can to hide it). This dispenser is small enough to fit into her bag and she can easily bring it with her to the bathroom and take a bag out and wrap it up when she’s done.
