I have an under-the-desk peddle exerciser that has been an irritation to use, as it slides progressively further away from me over the carpeted floor as I peddle. This exercise mat provides enough friction to keep the peddle exerciser in place without sliding across the carpet itself. The mat has some weight to it, and both feels like and appears to be a high quality item.
