Easy DIY Oven Light Bulb Replacement Project Great 40watt Lighting 1500 Hours of Operational Use
I always enjoy the simple DIY project that takes minutes to accomplish and is huge in savings like this recent 2-Pack Brtstiun 40watt Oven Light Bulb replacement made just before the holidays.My Oven Exhaust Light which hangs above my electric oven was noticeably dim which indicated it was time for replacement. I could have called and hired my local handyperson to make necessary repairs or task myself with the job and save $100+ repair bill.The special bulb type used for the oven, the refrigerator, the microwave, and overhead oven exhaust (Range Hood) is all the same â 40W, A15 Shape, with an E26 Base. This bulbâs specialty is the ability to withstand extreme heat temperatures up to 570° Fahrenheit / 300° Celsius. This 40watt light bulb is designed for long term usage with up to 1500 hours of operation. The bulb is Mercury, Lead, and Radiation Free, Eye Friendly, and Dimmable (if applicable).Color temperature lighting refers to the color temperature the light emits. This bulb is rated for 2700K meaning the filament inside the bulb gets hot and starts emitting light at approximately 2700 degrees Kelven and the lighting would be like a warm, yellowish light produced by traditional incandescent light bulbs. Lumens represent light output (brightness of light coming from the bulb), and this Brtstiun Light Bulb is a 415 Lemens bulb, and its equivalent would be a 6watt LED Bulb, 9watt CFL Bulb, 28watt Halogen Bulb, or 40watt Incandescent Light Bulb.As for installation, all I had to do was remove the glass panel (no screws just lift and remove), unscrew the expired bulbs and install these two new Brtstiun Oven Light bulbs, replace the glass protective panel and I was done. Perfect for Frigidaire oven
This is the proper size bulb (like half the size of a “normal” light bulb) for a Frigidaire oven. It’s nice to be able to see inside the oven again!

Perfect bulb for returning light to my Freezer
My freezer light went out after several years of use. I grew tired of using a flashlight to search for items so I saw the Brtstiun Dimmable Oven Light Bulb 2 Pack on amazon. It said it is more than just for ovens and that is correct. I replaced the bulb in my freezer and now can see all of my stored food clearly.It has now been a month, and the light has survived the freezing temperatures and illuminates everything when I open the Door. I am very satisfied with the product and have a spare since it is a two pack so if the fridge or oven light goes out, I am Ready.

Light Up Your Baking with This Bulb
I realized my oven light had gone out weeks ago and kept forgetting to replace itâand every time I use the oven it’s a struggle to see inside without opening the door (and letting all the heat out!). With the holidays just around the corner, I knew I had to get a bulb for my baking.This oven light is a very bright warm whiteâit’s true. When I saw the description, I wondered how it could be both warm and white. But as soon as I screwed it in, I noticed it was definitely bright white but didnât blind me because it also has that warm tone.Itâs bright enough that I can see what’s baking through the window, even with a dirty window (note to self: I need to clean that now, haha!). The description says it’ll last for 1,500 hours, which means I could bake about 216,000 snickerdoodles before I need to replace it. That’s a lot of cookies to spread the holiday cheer!

Works Great and Cheap
Lets be honest for a light bulb you only really care that it works and its cheap (at the time of this review). I’ll update my review if they die prematurely.I didn’t look up my oven model before purchasing these and they seemed the same as the OEM bulb so I assume if you have a relatively new oven it will usually be A15 (don’t be like me and actually check yours before purchasing of course).

Does the trick
Appliance bulbs aren’t exactly rocket science but this bulb checks all the boxes. It needs to be an incandescent bulb to withstand the oven heat (check), it needs to be fairly small to fit within the designated space and behind my oven’s glass lens (check), it needs to be dimmable? I guess there are some ovens that have brightness settings for the light so for compatibility it should be dimmable (it’s incandescent, so… check).One star deducted because the smallest quantity you can buy in this listing is two bulbs, and face it, when you need one you need… one. I’ll put the second bulb away in my closet and hopefully remember I have it the next time I need one.

Nice brightness
I don’t know why I waited so long, but our oven light had been out for at least a month. Honestly, I was a little intimidated by the fact that is looked like the one installed was a completely different style. It turns out that there is a protective cover over the bulb, and that is what was confusing me. If you have a setup like what is shown in my picture, that is a protective cover which unscrews just like a light bulb, then underneath that is the actual light bulb which must also be unscrewed. Once I got it installed, I was very happy with it. I was concerned that 40W would not be bright enough, but as you can see from the picture, it lights up the oven just fine. I will come back and update my review if we get a short life span or something. Otherwise, five stars.
