I have found my HOLY GRAIL of makeup removers and face cleansers!
This has to be the best face cleanser/makeup removers I have ever used in my 42 years of existence. Now before I tell you about the product – let me tell you about my skin: Uber sensitive, oily T-section, very prone to breakouts, blackheads, eczema, blotches, allergic reactions, you name it. I just look at some cleansers and my skin breaks out. I wear contact lenses, and my eyes are sensitive too. Now the last thing I would ever think of putting on my face is anything that has an “oil” in it, yet alone a product that IS an “oil.” First of all, logic dictates that oil and water don’t mix, plus if you’ve ever dripped salad oil on your chin, you know it’s impossible to get out – and your skin feels greasy even after 2 showers later. And then you break out with a pimple there because your pores got clogged. Right? Now getting back to this product. I was watching one of those shopping channels on TV, and this really pricey cleansing oil comes on. And the lady just rubs the cleansing oil into her skin with her dry fingers (no water) and the makeup just melts off. She rubs it into waterproof lipstick, takes a white cloth and the whole thing wipes right off in one swoop! Noo… that’s impossible. Then she does it again on her eyes – dry hands, pumps a few drips of the oil into her hand, massages it into her eyelids, and within 10 seconds later even the waterproof mascara gets wiped away with the cloth. Now there was no way I was going to pay $120 a bottle for their cleansing oil, so I went on Amazon to see if there was a comparable alternative. I came across this DHC one and figured, what the heck? Wow! I cannot believe it – this stuff works incredibly! I did it the same way as on TV, and my eyeshadow, waterproof eyeliner, and waterproof mascara, even the glue from false eyelashes just comes right off. I just pump 2-3 pumps of oil in my hand, close my eyes, rub my face with this oil for like 10-12 seconds, feel around for the cotton pad on the counter without opening my eyes, and wipe away the oil around my eyes, lips. Then I cup my hands with warm water and splash it on my face several times. Supposedly you don’t have to use water, but I do. The oil comes right off – no oily feeling at all. And my skin is smooth. Now this sounds crazy – but the blackheads around my nose area – 100% gone! Somehow this oil (over a week’s time) works better than any clay mask I have ever used in removing clogged pores. Just in case you also wear contacts, you know contacts plus any oil is bad and makes red, itchy, dry eyes. So I usually remove my contacts (just in case) first, and then wash my face. Or if I have to put my contacts back in right afterwards, I do use a normal cleanser for my face afterwards in my eye area, just to ensure there’s no trace of oil. So far (been through 3 bottles) I have not had any problems. No breakouts, no scrubbing to get off makeup, no itchy skin, no blackheads – actually I think it might be protecting my skin somehow because even during this itchy pollen season, I’m perfectly fine. Love love love this stuff!!!

This Stuff Truly Works!
Iâd purchased this product years ago and then rediscovered it last year. Now, I wonder how I lived without it! Itâs so simple to use. It takes off ALL makeup effortlessly, including stubborn mascara and eyeliner, with just a tissue and then ordinary water. My face is clean AND hydrated. I really canât recommend it enough. It absolutely does this 64 year old face wonders!

Great Make-Up Remover
This product smells quite nice, I feel like it doesnât actually have a fragrance but I just like the natural smells of it. It is great and now is my go to for make up removal and washing your face at the end of the day to get off all the sunscreen, moisturizer, etc.

Leaves skin feeling soft and supple
Iâve only used this so far 3 times and I am already loving the product. I use tretinoin and my skin becomes dry and flaky at times. This cleanser is gentle and hydrating, leaving my skin feeling soft and supple. Itâs a bonus to my skin care ritual and acts as extra hydration for my skin. Not stripping at all.Cleanser goes on dry skin. Massage and lather all over face. When ready, add some water and watch as it gets a Little foamy, then gently rinse away. Itâs lovely.

Really good, but expensive for the amount of product
It washes off really well, removes all makeup and it doesn’t leave a film on the skin, but it is expensive for the amount of product, although IMO, half pump is more than enough for the face.

Love it!
Love using this product as a makeup remover and double cleanser. It does not make my skin itch or cause irritation. I have been using it for years and would come back to it. This product is oily and can easily be washed off when it gets wet in water. The bottle size is great but it can feel a bit pricy.

Pleasantly surprised…
I bought this product beginning of July after being informed that regular face cleanser was not efficient in removing sunscreen. I thought it was madness to use an oil cleanser on my skin that is super oily, prone to hormonal acne, and sun hypersensitivity. Started with my M.A.C. oil make up remover to test how my skin would react, and then graduated to this lovely product after researching oil cleansers and their ingredients. ZERO breakouts, drying, or any increased oiliness. I love the improvement of my skin’s texture and how it feels after each use. My skin feels very clean, not stripped or irritated but hydrated. Will be repurchasing!

Top of the Line!
I happened to find my first bottle of the DHC Cleansing Oil at a discount store and gave it a try and it has quickly become a staple of must have products in my skin care routine! My first bottle is almost done and I made sure to get another bottle in before its done. First, the bottle has lasted me over 2 months, for the most part I use it for removing makeup. It is a great makeup remover I wear eyeliner and vibrant color eyeshadow and it removes everything and leaves no residue whatsoever. I use a towel and water to remove and it rinses clean. When to oil comes in contact with water it turns white and rinses off nicely. This is worth the price, definitely will be a frequent customer!

Gets every bit of makeup off and so gentle. I’ve been using it for 4 years and will continue to!

I really like how this leaves my face feeling. I had used other brands of oil washes without really knowing that there was a difference between them. The first time I had used this particular one, I could tell it felt different and left my face feeling nice. I havenât used long term yet though to tell if it makes any superior physical changes.

I have extremely sensitive skin, even when using extra sensitive wipes and some other skin products, but I have had no reaction to this whatsoever. One pump is enough and this has lasted me ages. The scent is fine and it easily removes makeup and dirt. 10/10.
