   I have never used these out even knew what they were. I didn’t know what to get for my Church Life Group Christmas party and my daughter suggested these. I was pleasantly surprised they were a hit and left wanting to get some for myself! 4 Stars for gift and self.

   Not kidding about the most highly scented
   I bought an array of different shower steamers to include in an advent calendar or as stocking stuffers. This is the only one that was so strongly scented that even in the unopened plastic packaging, it made everything else in the delivery (including the box, which I had to yeet out the front door) smell strongly of perfume.This isn’t just essential oils. This is… I’m not sure what this is. But it’s VERY VERY STRONG. I had to put it in two ziploc bags to contain the scent. I am having to air out all the other items I purchased in that order because they smell so strongly just from being in the box with these.I absolutely will not be able to use these as I hoped to since they will make everything around them stink. I had hoped that I could wrap them individually in saran wrap but I don’t think there’s enough saran wrap in the world to contain the smell. I have no idea what I’m going to do with these because I’m legit afraid to remove the box from the double ziploc bags.So I guess, if you like incredibly strongly scented products – think more like triple strength fabric softener than aromatherapy essential oils – this is the product for you, if you can find a place to store it safely.Literally all the other shower steamers I’ve gotten have either been packaged well enough to contain their scent or they aren’t so explosively scented as these are.Keep in mind, a hot shower multiplies scents. I often use aromatherapy essential oils in my shower simply by placing one to three drops directly under the water stream and have a delightfully minty shower. More than that and it’s overwhelming. So I’m not sure what using one of these will actually be like.Hopefully I’ll find a friend with a reduced sense of smell to give this to. I guess if you had the current disease and it left you having a hard time smelling things, this may be just the product for you!Otherwise, ehhhh. Beware of getting these as gifts; scent and chemical sensitivity is not uncommon these days and this would be noxious to them. Even without scent sensitivity, it’s kind of nasty to have one of your wrapped presents stinking up everything else under the tree.Oh and I highly recommend, if you do buy this, to order it by itself and not order anything else days before or days after, so that it has to come in its own box and won’t be packed up with anything else. Even if you find it a pleasant smell, it’s not that great infused into everything else.

   Some influencer suggested these would make a great “Mom” gift. Well, I ordered two. The scent coming out of the Amazon box was explosive. I’d actually purchased these thinking I’d take the individually wrapped “steamers” and attach them with the ribbons and gift tag to my teacher gifts. Because of the ferocious scent leaking out of the plastic-wrapped box, my curiosity got the best of me: were the steamers not individually packaged? Is this how to account for enormity of scent and the exterior wrap? So, I opened the box. Each of the six tabs was also wrapped. Then I decided to try one. I found removing the plastic from the tab challenging: it was like a second skin. Finding a way to release the tab from this plastic film caused the tab to crumble. I tossed the tab into the show and within minutes the tab had dissolved, leaving a barely perceptible scent in my shower stall and bathroom. I’ve used another brand of shower steamer and I can tell you the comparison is night vs. day. I would never have gone out of my way to review this product, but when this email arrived asking for a rating, I had to respond. I usually don’t even go after influencer’s suggestions, but it’s the holidays and this year I thought, “why not get a little help.” Well, maybe the best help is someone I know, not someone “working from home” and peddling crap they cannot possibly LOVE for themselves, much less for “moms.” The joke was on me, I can tell you that much.
