Easy to use, long lasting adhesive
I have used this product for several years as option to protect and hold CGM in place. Tried other types of materials but returned to these. Will keep these in my kitâ£ï¸

Not what I expected
They are clear adhesives that go over the original sensor adhesive. I was expecting it to cover the sensor as well but it does not. I will not be using these as I want a sensor cover as well so that I don’t end up with a sandy sensor when I go to the beach. They look well made and should stick well but if you’re looking for a complete coverage adhesive, this is not it.

Way better than you think!
My husband is newly diabetic and he is not one who will poke his finger so a sensor was the obvious choice. The very first one fell off the same night we put it on causing, to put it lightly, frustration. I looked and there are so many of these sensor covers but the majority are very expensive. This was the best bang for our buck and if they didn’t work well we couldn’t say we didn’t try. I have to be honest I’m convinced one of my husband’s arms is nonstick! I had to invest in some adhesive remover to get it off of his one arm then the other one just slides right off in a few days so we have to replace it. Big deal! We have plenty to use for a good while and the price was great! 5/5 Will buy again!

Don’t purchase
This product did not hold up as a cover patch. I used skintac, as I always do, for better adherence but this cover patch did not stay on my skin for the entire 10 days. The cover patch only lasted a couple of days and the edges started to peel rendering the patch useless.

Should Be Recommended/Required When the Sensor is Purchased
The sensors for the Freestyle Libre 2 should come with a sample packet of the sensor covers. I found out by trial and error that the sensors must be covered when in the shower or the swimming pool – the first one stopped working after one day. After purchasing several expensive types of waterproof band aids I found these sensors on Amazon. I have had problems getting them to adhere to my arm and often have to use 2 to guarantee that the sensor is fully covered; however, the cost of the covers more than make up for this little problem.

Eh
So, I see some reviews from people that donât know what these are for. They are supposed to go over your original Dexcom adhesive to keep it in place, because after a couple of days it gets wet and nasty and starts to come off. It says itâs waterproof so itâs allegedly supposed to protect the adhesive, I guess. Avoid getting it so gross to the point of peeling off.Anyway, Iâd first like to start by saying that the âpink and blueâ is pretty much pointless, since the adhesive itself is clear. I was misled to believe the colors were part of the adhesive, but itâs just the covering. This may just be my dumb self, but it took me like 20 minutes to figure out how to get the adhesive off and then I wasted the first one because it curled into itself and wouldnât come apart. It didnât go on perfectly, therefore it did not seal off my Dexcomâs original adhesive, aka both this product and my Dex adhesive got wet and gross after my first shower. Now, for the price, itâs ok. I got these because I am semi-new to Dexcom and heard that an extra adhesive helps, but I wanted to try these before getting a more expensive one. Itâs easily removable, and aside from the parts that got wet, it stayed in place for ten days. Again, it might have just been me being dumb and not being able to place it right, but cheap adhesive likes to stick to itself and is impossible to get apart, so just be careful when placing it if you do decide to purchase. Of course, there are so many in the pack that if you have to go through a couple because they keep messing up (as I did), youâre not really at a loss.Ok update: finally figured out how to apply these dang things after 20 minutes and wasting 3 of them lol. We will see how it does after showering and working out.

Needs better instructions
Hi, if you are having trouble getting these to stick, here’s the review for you! Pros: stick well, feel like a second skin, sensory-friendlyCons: a little hard to figure out the first couple times, hard to do on your own until you’ve mastered placementSo. Those instructions. First, remove the center white backing and leave the two wings. Center the cotton bit over the sensor. Stick in place, remove the wings and smooth out. Then peel off along the wavy line at the center of the colored part. It can come off if you’re not careful, but once that part is removed, it’s extremely thin. You want to do this part last because it will stick to itself and ruin the patch if you don’t.

Slightly difficult to apply with no instructions. Sticks well. Effective. After a while you get a plaster makr
