I bought this to compare to another device. It works but the downside is crap design. The buttons and chord placement make no sense. You literally hit to temp and off/on buttons trying to use this which is frustrating. The power chord points upward facing the buttons making it even more akward. Just buy one that is practical.

I am not impressed at all with this heated straightening brush! Definitely not worth purchasing.- Claims it’s for thick hair. I had medium thickness of hair and I had a very hard time guiding this through my hair. I had to do very small sections at a time, pull them straight and slowly guide this through.- Not sure this gets as hot as it claims. I have naturally straight hair, but my hair gets bends in it or creases if I pull it back in a hair tie or scrunchie, even for a short period of time. I usually use a flat iron to get the bends/creases out of my hair but this was not taking them out at all, even with several passes and set to highest heat setting.- The cord is really short! I like in an older house and the outlet in my Master Bathroom is not at counter height. I have a pedestal sink and the outlet is on the wall below the sink. I’m a tall person and with this plugged into the outlet, I can barely reach my hair with the cord completely stretched out. I found myself having to lean down some in order to use this. I’ve never had a hair appliance with the cord this short.- Safety: I have concerns for the safety of this electrical device. There were no UL markings or labels on this device at all. I would NOT leave this plugged in after use. Even with the claim to auto shut-off after 30 minutes, I would be concerned of fire or overheating or some other problem.Overall, I am not going to use this device anymore. The inefficiency and ineffectively, as well as the safety concerns, this styling comb is not worth keeping.
